This one-story house plan updates the conventional farmhouse architecture. The New American exterior combines board and batten siding with wood siding and wide windows to give the home a distinctive appearance. A beautiful home office with built-in storage sits just off the doorway. The great room, which is open to the kitchen and dining area, is also heated by a fireplace. The kitchen in the house has a wide island and a walk-in pantry.
Two bedrooms on the left of the house share a Jack and Jill bathroom. The spacious master suite is located across the house and features a towering cathedral ceiling. His and her vanities, a walk-in shower, an enclosed toilet area, and a walk-in closet with access to the laundry room are all included in the master bathroom. A big extra room over the garage would make an excellent home office or playroom for your children and adds 398 square feet to the total finished square footage when constructed.
This plan is also available with a completed basement add-on, which can be purchased from the Options menu. The completed basement adds 1,310 square feet to the home and includes an exercise room, a family room, and two finished bedrooms.
