This two-bedroom cottage design has charming details throughout the inside and out, including subtle green board and batten siding, a brick chimney, a metal roof, and an appealing front porch. The home’s great room and kitchen, which are both light-filled, are accessible straight from the front entry. The main point is a central fireplace beneath a vaulted ceiling, and french doors open to a screened porch.
The U-shaped kitchen counters provide lots of workstations and storage, and the ceiling and walls are paneled in natural wood to further enhance the rustic feel. The master bedroom has a door leading to the back patio with rear views. On the opposite side of the big bathroom and laundry closet is a second bedroom. The right side of the house has a lean-to storage area attached to it.
